Investor Newsletter, August 2020: Exploration Update

Dear Investor,

Firstly, we trust you and your family are well and we wish you fortitude and optimism during these trying times. From a commercial perspective and for what it is worth given the circumstances, there has been an obvious ‘golden-lining’ to the turmoil which has gone someway to reflecting value and allowed us to recapitalize through the oversubscribed offering we announced as closed, yesterday. We thank all of you who participated, our gratitude as always to existing shareholders and a spirited welcome to the new shareholders both institutional and individual who have now joined us.

Obviously the pandemic has presented us with new challenges and a need to adapt operations accordingly. Whereas drilling operations are manageable, laboratory turnaround times are slow, often taking up to a month from sample dispatch to the receipt of preliminary results. Regional exploration is about to commence again in Nicaragua and Colombia, although rural communities are understandably cautious in respect of receiving outsiders.

At Luna Roja in Nicaragua (Royal Road Intersects 65 Meters at 6.9 Grams Per Tonne Gold at The Luna Roja Gold-Skarn Project: Nicaragua), the plan is to complete the current 3000 meter drilling program and then move the drill rig to the Caribe Project some 16 kilometers to the south (Royal Road Reports Positive Drilling at its Caribe Discovery; Nicaragua).
