New mines for a new world

Royal Road Minerals

The Bambanita project is located in Nicaragua’s North Caribbean Coast Autonomous region, close to the historic mining town of Rosita.

Bambanita is located within Nicaragua’s Golden Triangle, a well-known historic mining region located in north-eastern Nicaragua. The area is host to three historic mines, Santa Rita – Rosita (Skarn copper/gold), La Luz – Siuna (Skarn gold/copper) and Bonanza (Epithermal gold).

Since 1900 the district has produced in excess of 8 million ounces of gold and 12 million ounces of silver mainly from epithermal vein systems and skarns.

The Bambanita project forms a part of the Company’s 50-50 Strategic-Alliance agreement with Hemco Mineros Nicaragua (a subsidiary of Colombia’s Grupo Mineros S.A. MINEROS:SA). Royal Road is operator of the Strategic Alliance.

The Bambanita project is covered by two concessions where historic mining activities were carried out during the last 25 years on the three main sectors Tajo Bambanita, Mina Roja and Quarry.

Bambanita is on trend with similar geology project Luna Roja, and is characterized by a package of Cretaceous limestone / dolostone rocks intruded by diorite bodies with the development of hornfels and calc-silicatic skarnoid metasomatism.

Previous exploration activities carried by Hemco returned consistent soil anomalies > 100ppb Au and high-grade rock samples up to up to 68 g/t Au from Tajo Bambanita and 48 g/t from Mina Roja.

Royal Road plan to execute a first step scout drilling in Q2-2022
