El Tambo

New mines for a new world

Royal Road Minerals

The El Tambo project is located in the region of Cauca, approximately 22 Km west of Popayan.

The El Tambo titles cover a historic vein-controlled mining district which is hosted for the most part in tonalite of the California-stock. Individual veins are generally steeply-dipping and between 300-500m in strike length but in some cases extend over mapped distances in excess of 1.5 kilometers.

Vein thicknesses are generally less than a meter, but vein wall rocks are often mineralized and in some cases the composite mineralized structure extends over widths in excess of 5 meters. Vein structures generally grade over 30 grams per tonne gold (up to 147 grams per tonne) and wall rock zones range between 1-2 grams per tonne gold.

Royal Road is focused on the discovery of “ Tier 1” gold and copper mines where they are most likely and most needed

We are the largest title and title application holder in Colombia with quality gold and copper exploration projects located in two main regions; The Northern Block, encompassing the prolific Middle Cauca belt, and the Southern Block, incorporating the most prospective and under-explored regions of the Andes.

Operating under the structure of a 50-50 strategic alliance with HEMCO Mineros Nicaragua, we are the exploration largest license holder in the Country. Currently, the exploration work in Nicaragua is focused on drill-testing three drill-permitted gold and copper-gold projects.
