New mines for a new world

Royal Road Minerals

La Merced gold project is located in the rural area of La Merced Town, Caldas State, in the southern portion of Colombia's prolific Middle Cauca belt, 7 kilometers to the south-east of the historical Marmato Gold Mining District.

The La Merced Project is a product of Royal Road Minerals early exploration, developed to basin border and exposed by oligocene-miocene formations. It is a near to drill-stage stage project awaiting public audience and conversion from application to title by advance in environmental viability and permits by diamantine drilling.

Windows of partially exposed multi-phase porphyry suite hosted into miocene volcaniclastic deposits of Combia Formation, with stream sediments results up to 269 Au ppb, rock chips and channels results up to 9,597 g/t gold, and zonations of shells from argillic (montmorillonite-illite rich domains) to phyllic (quartz-sericite-pyrite rich domains) alterations, define a target with approximately 400 x 900 meters.

A deep porphyry centre underlying a poorly exposed gold-bearing quartz-sericite-pyrite shell is interpreted in the drilling objectives.
