Karen Caballero

Karen is a lawyer, specialist with a double degree in Administrative and Constitutional Law from the Universidad Católica Colombia. She has thirteen years of experience in the mining sector, where she has been linked to important companies such as: Carbones del Cerrejón Limited and Exploraciones Northern Colombia; in the latter she worked in the mining concession area, which allowed her to build experience and knowledge in general mining property procedures, applied both to obtain concession contracts and to the execution of these. 

Besides managing the company’s Colombian properties portfolio, she has also managed mineral property maintenance subject to procedures under the Argentinian provincial law of San Juan with the Company. Karen has comprehensive legal knowledge that allows her to have analytical skills and ability to propose solutions that provide legal certainty and effectiveness to the organisation's strategy.
